This is a Great New Accessory for cut-out preparations in countertops, worktops and panels suiting five Zipbolt models, 10.700, 10.600, 10.500, 10.800 and 10.900. Simply align the marked Zipbolt model on the Template with the edge of the top then squaring off with the centre line and secure with appropriate screws. Using a router with the specified bit and bushing it will take seconds to prepare the cut-out giving you an accurate and clean provision to use your chosen Zipbolt connector. This is a very usefully addition to your tool kit which can be used in the workshop or out on the field or worksite.
The NEW die cast "Open Channel" housing is a major development by Zipbolt which allows the housing to be placed over the shaft easily engaging the thread and positioning the housing at the right height even if the hole was bored too deep. A reduced housing size also permits the housing to travel within the accommodating (25mm) hole tightening the joint while the two wood members are already connected. In conjunction with dowels and liquid adhesives, the KD/ST ZIPBOLT allows legs and rails or furniture components to be assembled at once, rather than assembled in parts over several days whilst the adhesive bonds, greatly increasing production efficiency.
