The Zipbolt UT requires a T30 Driver bit as a driving tool and this ensures a very positive engagement. The NEW all metal Zipbolts which now have diecast gear housing are more durable and are able to achieve even higher torque levels than previously.
The Superslim Zipbolt 18.300 once again pushes engineering limits as the thinnest benchtop connector in the world, with a profile thickness of just 8mm—achieved without compromising torque or tensioning performance, despite the significant size reduction. Demand for this connector arose from the countertop industry, where the development of HPL and compact laminate materials, typically around 13mm thick, created the need for a mechanical fastener capable of securely pulling and holding these slim surfaces together. The 18.300 also features a different drive system, requiring a T25 Torx bit, which provides extremely positive engagement within the drive housing. For best results, we recommend using either a hand ratchet driver or a power tool with a torque setting.
A new product for the stair industry, the main feature of this product will be its’ ability for fixing a hand rail between 2 fixed posts. The Slipfix is preinstalled into both ends of the rail and retracts flush with the end grain, it is then lowered between the posts and the shafts exit and engage the keyhole discs in the posts. Once the connection is made tightening takes place using the Zipbolt gear housing as the drive system and the job is done.
